Aesthetic Pruning Award Requirements

This is an award issued through the Landscape Horticulture Department.  (This is not a formal certificate given by Merritt College or the Peralta Community College District.)  However, anyone achieving the Aesthetic Pruning Award has achieved a high level of knowledge and proficiency in pruning and related subjects. 

Your completed classes must be reviewed by the Landscape Horticulture staff or by the Pruning Club  Educational Committee, showing proof (e.g. your class notes for the fee classes, receipts for payment of these classes) and a transcript of the Peralta classes taken, with a grade of C or better.  You must also be able to document your experience.  Please call (510) 436-2418 for further information.
